About This Project

Approx. 5,500 sq. ft.

Construction of this new one-story, three-classroom addition for Augusta County Public Schools created science and technology lab space for the Valley Career & Technical Center. The scope of work included site development, interior build-out and finishes, and installation of all new MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems.

The superstructure consists of slab-on-grade, roof joist framing to load-bearing CMU walls; exterior walls consist primarily of CMU and brick with a metal panel parapet.

Valley Career & Tech Center is one of nine regional career and technical education centers in Virginia. VCTC provides high-quality technical education and career preparation to meet the needs of today’s high school students and adults. The school serves the public school systems of Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro.
