Now Open: Broadway’s new gas station and convenience store!

Broadway Virginia’s new gas station and convenience store officially opened on Monday, September 23, 2024 and according to a report in the Daily News Record, by noon the site had already had hundreds of visitors/customers.

Lantz Construction was the general contractor for this large-scale project for locally-owned Rockingham Petroleum Cooperative.

In the months leading up to the June 7, 2023 groundbreaking, the local community was abuzz about what was happening at the corner of Mayland and Springbrook Roads. Now everyone can really get pumped up!

The fuel station offers Southern States brand gasoline and premium diesel and will be open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The convenience store features made-to-order fried chicken and pizza and will be open Monday through Saturday from 4:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Travis Driver, Director of Convenience Operations for Rockingham Petroleum, has stated that once the store is fully staffed, it will also be open on Sundays.
