General Contracting

As the general contractor, we directly oversee all aspects of the project’s construction phase. Our project managers work in conjunction with our superintendents to manage the entirety of a project’s day-to-day operations. We also differentiate ourselves through our self-performed capabilities. We employ skilled tradespeople that can perform concrete, masonry, steel erection, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, doors, and hardware. This allows us to supplement manpower and more easily manage the schedule and quality, while being proactive in adjusting to any potential changing project conditions.

Construction Management

We can directly manage, or collaborate on, the entirety of your project, from inception to completion. While each project’s needs are unique and therefore the level of Lantz’s overall involvement can vary, we have found that being included at the onset allows us to have in-depth knowledge of what is important to our client. This fluid process can lead to better risk mitigation and a more efficient and cost-effective project.

Design-Build

When a project is designated as design-build, this means that in addition to the construction, Lantz is responsible for the design process. We can approach your project’s design through either a partnership with a designated civil engineering or architectural firm, or through a combined partnership between design-build subcontractors. Having Lantz manage the design phase streamlines your project and can lead to numerous benefits, all of which are likely to save two very valuable resources—time and money.

Pre-Construction Consulting

Preconstruction is a crucial phase in any project, regardless of project approach. All of our completed projects begin in preconstruction. Yet if you are solely looking to assess the feasibility of a project before making any further decisions, this is where our specific preconstruction consulting services can be of significant benefit. Given that in the early stages of any project, there are often many unknown variables, our team can consult with you to first identify a project’s critical components: scope, schedule and cost.

Facility & Industrial Maintenance

We have a team dedicated solely to facility and industrial maintenance. Their extensive experience specific to industrial and manufacturing construction will ensure your facility runs efficiently for years to come. We have close relationships, and frequent repeat business, with many of the manufacturing facilities within the Valley.

We’ve built hundreds of pre-engineered buildings over the years. Since 1969, we’ve partnered with Star Building Systems, one of the largest providers of pre-engineered steel structures in the United States. Our decades-long relationship with Star speaks to the quality of their work. There are numerous benefits to a pre-engineered metal building, some of the most significant being longevity, design flexibility, and cost savings.

Safety First

There is nothing more important in construction than safety. Our full-time Safety Director spends the majority of his time at our various job sites, and our overall safety program is tailored to the specific needs of each jobsite. We provide extensive and frequent safety training that aligns with the rigorous standards to which we are held. The numerous ratings and metrics we are measured on year to year related to the effectiveness of our safety program prove that we practice what we preach.
