About This Project

Verona, VA – 21,339 sq. ft.

This multi-phased project created much-needed new and updated work spaces for several departments housed within the Augusta County Government Center.

Phase 1 involved an innovative use of existing real estate by closing in the large covered exterior dock at the building’s south end and converting it into office space (11,942 sq. ft.).  Following the Augusta County Parks & Recreation Department’s move into that newly created space, Phase 2 renovations began on Park & Rec’s vacated office to better accommodate it for the needs of the Human Resources Department and County Attorney (4,226 sq. ft.).

The County Attorney’s office had been sharing a space with the Emergency Communications Center, therefore completion of Phase 2 allowed for the third and final stage of this project–the renovation and expansion of the ECC (5,171 sq. ft.).
