Attention to detail was necessary to help preserve the historical character of this circa 1922 landmark. Features include restored windows, woodwork and lighting, classrooms converted to conference and retreat facilities, a visitor’s center, ADA compliant entrances, restrooms and elevators, restored central auditorium with improved lighting and acoustics, new heating and cooling system with zoned controls for increased energy efficiency, exterior stabilization, masonry repair, new electrical and plumbing additional paved parking and new landscaping. A standby generator will allow the facility to be used as an emergency shelter.
