Spring Forward: Check Your Detectors!

As we get closer to springing our clocks forward, we’d like to remind everyone that this is also a great time to check your detector batteries.

Daylight Savings Time (DST) starts Sunday, March 10. DST is a great time to observe the long-standing “Change Your Clock Change Your Battery” program, created by Energizer and the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC).

This campaign reminds everyone to test and change the batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. It’s quick and easy—and it could save your life!
