Richard has been with Lantz Construction since 1998 and has served in his current role as the company’s CFO and Treasurer since 2002. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with an Accounting degree from Virginia Tech, and a member of Lantz’s Leadership Team. Prior to joining Lantz, Richard worked for a local CPA firm for ten years.
He and his wife Michele reside in Harrisonburg and have two children who are second-generation Hokies – daughter Alexis (Class of 2023) and son Jaden (Class of 2026).
An active member of several professional organizations, Richard is a member of Spotswood Country Club and currently attends Timberville Church of the Brethren. When not working, Richard enjoys college football, traveling, and time at home with family and friends.
