“Thank you for your belief in this project! It turned out to be much better than we anticipated and so much of that is due to your staff’s energy and focus.” – John Graves, Luray Caverns Corporation

About This Project

Luray, VA – 190 lf (tunnel), 665 lf (walkway)

This unique project involved several months of rock blasting, after which a 190-foot underpass (including 88 feet of pre-cast tunnel) and new underground entranceway were constructed to create a new access point to Luray Caverns, a popular tourist attraction and U. S. Natural Landmark.  A new faux brick stamped concrete walkway, 500 feet of which is under cover, connects the new entrance area to the existing building and allows full access to the caverns without the need for stairs.
