About This Project

Demolition of the previous 67 year old, 2-story pool house in the City of Staunton began in September 2025 with a strict deadline of May 2026 to construct a new ground-level accessible facility in its place. Two new buildings were erected; allowing for a modern, zero-barrier pool house that will serve Staunton residents for decades to come. The scope of work included individual restrooms for family privacy, a new concession stand, and a new covered patio. The pool house officially opened on time for the Memorial Day 2026 weekend.
