About This Project

Broadway, VA – 3,520 sf

After the existing 50 year-old community pool house building was thoroughly gutted, an extensive renovation was performed to provide a much-needed facelift to the 1970s-era recreational swimming facility, including an all new roof system, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, floor coatings, and exterior finishes.

Newly constructed additions expanded the concessions area and restrooms and created a mechanical room and a storage room with overhead door.  Two new 40′ x 18′ covered/lighted poolside shelters were built to provide guests with comfortable, shaded outdoor lounge areas on the north and south sides of the pool.

This project was completely funded through the American Rescue Plan Act.

The Town of Broadway Community Swimming Pool is integral to the community and is a great place for family and friends to spend a few hours, or all day, during the hot summer months.
