About This Project

Broadway, VA – 2,800 sf

After the existing 50 year-old community pool house building was thoroughly gutted, additions were built that expanded the concessions area and restrooms, and added a storage room (with overhead door) and a mechanical room.  New construction of a 42′ x 20′ covered poolside shelter created a comfortable, shaded outdoor lounge.  The new spaces totaled 1,240 sq. ft.

Additionally, an extensive 1,560 sq. ft. renovation provided a much-needed facelift to the 1970s-era recreational swimming facility and included an all new roof system, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, floor coatings, and exterior finishes.

This project was completely funded through the American Rescue Plan Act.

The Town of Broadway Community Swimming Pool is integral to the community and is a great place for family and friends to spend a few hours, or all day, during the hot summer months. Check out their Facebook page at facebook.com/BroadwayCommunityPool.
