Chris Driver, our metal building specialist and the primary liaison between Lantz and Star Building Systems, represented Lantz at STAR’s National Sales Meeting held from February 25-27, 2019 in Tucson, Arizona.  Lantz became a STAR dealer in 1969 and the highlight for us at this year’s meeting was recognition of that highly successful 50-year partnership.

Upon his return Chris reported, “This (50-Year Service Award) is a highly valued and respected accomplishment for those in the metal building industry.  In addition, we were given an ‘Outstanding Builder’ award for (easily) exceeding our projected sales goals for the year.  We made the ‘Top Ten’ list for builders sales volume in our district finishing second by only 1%!  We were recognized with a ‘Million Dollar Award’ for annual sales in 2018 exceeding a million dollars.  We were recognized in Star’s ‘President’s Club’ for total cumulative sales which now exceed 22 million.  Lastly, we won a national ‘Master Builder’ award for our Valley Protein Hangar project in the Retrofit* category.  Needless to say, we were shown a lot of appreciation for having had such a good performance year on top of celebrating such a historic milestone.”

*Retrofit/Components Category Description: “Application of Star roof, wall systems or components to an existing structure, conventional or pre-engineered.”
