During Associated General Contractor of Virginia’s Annual Convention in January 2020, Kirk Adams, Director of Preconstruction & Business Development at Riddleberger Brothers, Inc., was installed as the 2020 Chairman.

The AGC of Virginia is one of the top AGC chapters in the nation and is the largest and most influential construction trade organization in the state of Virginia. AGCVA’s membership includes more general contractors and subcontractors than any other construction trade association in the state. AGCVA was founded in 1924 and is divided into 9 districts across the state, each of which works with a district manager to plan activities including workshops, meetings, seminars, networking opportunities, and events in that area.

Kirk Adams, LEED AP+BD has served as the Director of Preconstruction & Business Development at Riddleberger Brothers, Inc., since April of 2016. Mr. Adams joined Riddleberger Brothers in 2004 and has held a variety of positions including Estimating Department Manager and Director of Preconstruction. Prior to being installed as AGCVA’s Chairman, Kirk served as Vice Chairman and as a member of the Valley District Executive Committee. Lantz and Riddleberger have worked on numerous projects together over the years and continue to do so in 2020 and beyond.

Lantz’s President & CEO, Chris Weaver, serves on AGCVA’s Board of Directors. Lantz’s Chief Preconstruction Officer, Jeff Deavers, serves on the Valley District Executive Committee. During 2020’s AGCVA’s Annual Convention, Lantz’s former Senior Estimator for 45 years, John Long, introduced the installation of 2020’s Chairman. John served two terms as President of the Valley District Associated General Contractors and as Chairman of the Board.
