Congratulations to Lantz team members Jonthomas Wiles, Drew Meyerhoeffer and Jeremie Southerly for completing the 8-week Dale Carnegie Skills for Success program in early March.  The three serve Lantz as project engineer, estimator, and superintendent, respectively.  The Skills for Success program is designed to build self-confidence and help students grow both professionally and personally in areas of interpersonal relationships, stress management, communication, and leadership.

At the end of the course, the class of 25 voted to present Jon Wiles with the Highest Award for Achievement, an honor given to the student who best demonstrates the skills and behaviors taught during the course.

Jon especially enjoyed the public speaking part of the course, but said the training on relationship building, memory skills, name recall, and encouraging and inspiring others made the biggest impact on him; he is already using his newly learned skills at work, home, and at Wayne Hills Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon.

Class Instructor Wray Powell reported that each of our participants demonstrated growth in various areas.  We know they will continue to use the skills they learned to build a positive future for themselves and for Lantz!
