James Madison University: Wayland Hall Receives LEED Platinum Award.

As a subcontractor on the renovation of the Wayland Hall dormitory, Lantz Construction Company is proud to have been a LEED contributor by procuring and installing FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood for the carpentry facets of the project – including foldable door systems, wood framing, and decking over canopies.  Lantz also installed visual display boards, stage curtains, bath partitions, and fire extinguisher cabinets – each manufactured with recycled materials. The JMU dormitory is the first renovated residence hall in the U.S. to receive LEED platinum status; it is the fourth LEED platinum dormitory in the nation.
