Prior to joining Team Lantz in 2008, Chris specialized in aviation consulting and real estate development. He is a graduate of James Madison University and Washington & Lee University School of Law, and is an associate member of the Virginia Bar.
Chris’ current community and professional involvement includes serving on the Harrisonburg Electric Commission (HEC), Associated General Contractors of Virginia (AGCVA) Board of Directors, JMU’s SHD Community Air Service Taskforce, Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce (HRCC) Public Policy Committee, Harrisonburg City Public Schools (HCPS) Business Advisory Council, and the Lead Generation Committee of the Shenandoah Valley Partnership (SVP). He formerly sat on the HRCC Board of Directors and its Executive Committee (Treasurer), the Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce (GARCC) Board of Directors, the Broadway Hometown Partnership (former Chairman), and has held numerous positions within various local government committees, chambers of commerce, builders’ associations, and economic development entities over the years.
When not engaged in professional and community endeavors, Chris enjoys studying history and spending every minute he can with family – especially his lovely wife, wonderful daughter, and the twins (one girl and one boy)! Chris is also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys fishing, hunting, bird-watching, gardening, hiking, cycling, and paddling.
