Last month Lantz Construction Company was a proud “Silver” sponsor of the annual Harrisonburg MS Dinner of Champions, an event Lantz has sponsored for the past several years. We’re pleased to report that this year’s Dinner raised $160,020 for the Virginia-West Virginia chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, which will help fund research on MS and provide services for those living with MS.
According to the National MS Society website, Multiple Sclerosis is an “unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body” that affects more than two million people worldwide. Most of those diagnosed with MS are between the ages of 20 and 50.
