About This Project

This project involved sitework and construction of two 14,000 sq. ft. aircraft hangars for Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport (SHD).

Located in SHD’s Aviation Technology Park, these new dual climate-controlled hangars feature taller doors to accommodate larger aircraft as well as finished office space, storage rooms, and restrooms.

Financing for this long-awaited expansion project was secured through USDA’s Rural Development program and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA).
