About This Project
This new 28,726 sf stave mill produces white oak staves and headers that are used in the manufacture of bourbon barrels at Speyside cooperages. The mill is a combination of pre-engineered steel and conventional construction and features offices, locker rooms, a canopy structure for outdoor mill equipment, an extensive dust collection system, wood siding and stone veneer. The 24-acre site development included a log yard, stave yard and three ponds.
